10/2AIDS Walk Portland
AIDS Walk Portland 2011 is the state’s 2nd largest walk, attracting 11,000 people in 2010. For 2011, the goal is to attract 12,000 walkers and raise $400,000. Funds raised go to support Cascade AIDS Project’s mission of preventing new HIV infections, caring for and empowering people living with HIV/AIDS, and eliminating HIV/AIDS-related stigma. Registration and entertainment begin at 9:00AM, the walk starts at 11:00AM and ends around 1:30. Prizes, food and friends are all available to those who register and walk. Click here and sign up!
