Studio on the Square
NewsChannel 8’s HD “Studio on the Square” will be adjacent to the Square's Visitor Information Center in the interior space previously occupied by Powell's Travel Books. This high definition studio will showcase events at the Square in visual detail never seen before.

Travel Portland
Portland’s official visitor information center is located in Pioneer Courthouse Square. Here visitors can find maps, travel guides and brochures. Also, the center’s staff can answer questions and provide expert recommendations of things to see and do.

Theater on the Square
Located within the Visitor Information Center this 75 seat surround-sound theater currently showcases two films on the highlights and history of Portland.

A 12-minute showcase of the people and places throughout Portland and Oregon. In a format never seen in Portland, it truly captures the regions breathtaking scenes and landscapes throughout the film.

"At the Frontier of Adventure & Architecture":

This 2006 Tely Award winning film is a 15-minute showcase of the history and contributions of the Square's namesake and neighbor Pioneer Courthouse.
